Jacquelyne (“Jackie”) Fiala, Associate (Nashville)

With eight years of experience with large law firms in New York City and Nashville before joining Mainsail Lawyers, Jackie’s diverse commercial litigation and contracts practice includes a broad range of complex commercial disputes and opportunities. Her background includes matters of environmental enforcement; health care litigation; civil litigation, including jury trials and appeals; defending personal injury claims in the aviation industry; alternative dispute resolution; commercial negotiations for material agreements; and business disputes among partners, shareholders and external claimants.

Jackie has successfully tried cases in federal and state court to jury verdicts, and her years of experience litigating a wide range of contract disputes has provided her a front row seat on how best to conduct front-end contract negotiations, review, and drafting. Jackie’s experience includes handling matters for large and small clients ranging in size from family-owned businesses to larger companies such as HCA, USAIG, and Southwest Airlines.

Prior to joining Mainsail Lawyers, Jackie practiced with Herrick, Feinstein LLP in Manhattan, and, most recently, with Waller, Lansden, Dortch & Davis LLP in Nashville, as a Trial and Appellate Practice attorney. Jackie graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City in 2009. Jackie received her undergraduate degree from Boston University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Biological Anthropology and Religion.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Jackie is licensed to practice in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Tennessee.
